The new edition of Ibiza International Film Festival open the doors the next day 23 with new expectations

Films festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin and San Sebastian Films festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin and San Sebastian among others, offer a valuable cultural showcase by giving us the opportunity to see how
films are made in other parts of the world. In the words of Sir Alan Parker,“ its such
a pleasure to sit there and watch movies, to see films from other countries, other cultures, you know, if you love film its very exciting to see
films from other countries, films you would not normally get to see, I mean, its
just a fantastic opportunity.”
Antonio Isasi the veteran Spanish director who was Chairman of the jury in the first edition of the festival will be repeating the experience and debating who are the best directors, actors etc., together with a very prestigious jury line up.
As well as the competitive section of feature films the festival offers a variety of events including the Ecological Cinema brought to Ibiza by the L’ille de France festival, with Ironeaters from Shaheen Dill-Riaz, A killer bargain by Tom Heinemann, The Great Warming, Michael Taylor, The chances of the world changing by Stephne Poule, Gulf stream or the Next ice age by Nicolas Koutsikas and Sur la route du the from Michel Noll, amongst others.
Loads of films, some surprises and the red carpet this year will be worn by the Palace of Congress in Santa Eulalia, for the closing of the festival on the 31st of May.
