Films festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin and San Sebastian among others, offer a valuable cultural showcase by giving us the opportunity to see how films are made in other parts of the world. In the words of Sir Alan Parker, “ its such a pleasure to sit there and watch movies, to see films from other countries, other cultures, you know, if you love film its very exciting to see films from other countries, films you would not normally get to see, I mean, its just a fantastic opportunity”. |

It is a good example of that talent is sometimes innate. After 31 years at the top of celluloid, starting with the chance of this (or destination) and the big door, with the nomination of eight awards from the British Academy Film (got five) in 'Bugsy Malone, grandson Al Capone, 'Film Festival Ibiza and Formentera is very proud to present and which will be the honored character in the second edition: Sir Alan Parker.
